Thy boundless bounty love

The blend of the soil’s scent

Reaches the lung

Warms up that holy thought

Of freedom you sung

You! The mother of longing soul

Made us so whole!

For and of you we’ll live

Fighting no more!

Every heart is lit with the light

Of the night of freedom

Atrocious we wouldn’t turn

In the name of freedom

You! The mother of longing soul

Made us so whole!

For and of you we’ll live

Fighting no more!

Our faces make the map

Our hands will guard thy lamp

Our hearts will sing thy chant

You! Mother of the longing soul

Thy boundless bounty love

Ties the very soul to soul

For and of you we’ll live

Breathe you till we fall dust to dust

A Bud By The River Bed

A bud by the river bed
Longing for a humble bloom
To the tunes of the wind
It always sings, total bliss
Its song that brings

Its winking petals
Were shut with shutters
Yet with songs
Its hear t still flutters
All it needed,
Was to be groomed
For a bloom

One such a ray
It is you, I could say
That gave my words
Its voice…
Amidst the worldly noise

I need all your presence
For my life’s essence
But with your absence
It would be a non sense

Not just the verse
Could tell how much you worth
A treasure that is open
A pleasure I get often
You drizzle out all my droughts
You dazzle all my thoughts
These are words from my soul
With a warmth for your soul

A Woodpecker's Plea

Breaking its beak it bleeds
For some wood, it pleads
Is it still the ‘Iron-age’?
And no heart to heed!

Stands those sky-scrappers
In affair with the sky with no air
For air is “conditioned”
To ruin the nature and not to spare

Pecking the glass and the alumin-clad
And on the walls of concrete
It got hurt very bad
No luck to chuck some wood
For the wood pecker
Like “Stop minting pennies,
To stop a needy beggar”

Think and ink the nature
Resources go dried
Signing off the future

It can’t fly to a corner cabin
Nor could it claim medical expense
It’s an offense to steal
And you have no time to heal

Carbon clouds are a copy
Of your plans that went ‘floppy’
Here you have an outcome
To global warming…
Give a warm welcome

A tribute to the Sockeye Salmon!

So brave! so brave!
With no siren you win nature!
No written theories of Physics,
No read knowledge of Geo either!
Where did you graduate
To swim against...?
Against the currents of the water!

Did clouds hint you or the sun?
Did hastening wind blew your tune?
A long way you make every year
Aren't you tired and felt wearied?

Be it the ocean or the river to and fro
You skillfully slip and slip row by row!
Those waiting bears, though not bearers
Train their kids on some of your fearers!

Silver you start, red you spawn
Is it evolution or a revolution,
Against the calamities' dawn?
Every time you spawn and choke ,
Is it just a season's joke?
A lot in me you evoke!

Through your fins,
Slips the tune of hope
That brings light to my eyes
Tying me to me like a rope!

As a part and parcel of nature
You win at times,
And fall a prey at another!
You die so great
'coz you always die...
As a mother!
